What this part does

The Front Bumper Reinforcement is a rigid structural crossmember mounted directly to the front chassis frame rails of the vehicle. It absorbs and distributes the kinetic energy of a frontal impact, protecting critical engine cooling components and the main vehicle structure from severe damage. Sitting completely hidden behind the plastic bumper cover, it serves as the mounting foundation for the impact absorbers and helps support the front fascia. Once bent or compromised in a collision, this component loses its intended structural integrity and cannot safely absorb a second impact.
