What this part does

The dashboard forms the main interior trim structure spanning the front of the cabin, housing the instrument cluster, climate vents, and the central infotainment display. It acts as the primary mounting point for the passenger airbag, glove box assembly, and various interior control modules. It also conceals the underlying cross-car structural beam and the complex wiring harnesses routing to the center console and steering column. Because it is positioned directly under the windshield, the panel is subjected to constant UV exposure and extreme temperature changes. Replacements are typically required due to long-term sun fading, material cracking, or structural damage following a passenger side airbag deployment.

Verify if the vehicle it came from was equipped with the Sport Chrono package, as this dictates whether there is a specific center cutout for the analog dash clock.
