About this part

Lower Radiator Bracket

What this part does
The Lower Radiator Bracket secures the bottom of the cooling module to the front chassis structure. It absorbs engine vibrations and road impacts, preventing physical stress from cracking the plastic radiator tanks. When this mount fails or snaps due to front-end collisions or fatigue, the radiator can shift out of place, potentially causing coolant leaks or causing the cooling fan to rub against nearby engine pulleys.

Before you order
Verify whether you need the lower bracket, as upper and lower mounting points use entirely different bracket shapes. These mounts are often damaged during minor front-end collisions; always inspect the adjoining core support for cracks to ensure this new bracket will sit flush. It is recommended to inspect the rubber isolation grommets and replace them if they are hardened or missing to maintain proper vibration dampening for the radiator assembly.
