What this part does
The headliner is the structural backing board and upholstery that spans the interior ceiling of the vehicle. It provides vital acoustic insulation to reduce road and wind noise, houses the overhead interior lighting and microphones, and conceals the roof curtain airbags and wiring harnesses. When a headliner fails, it is typically due to the foam backing degrading over time, which causes the fabric to separate and sag, or from irreversible water damage originating from a faulty sunroof seal.

Before you order
Verify whether your vehicle is a standard (G11) or long wheelbase (G12) chassis, as the roof lengths are completely different and the boards will not interchange. This specific panel features the factory Alcantara finish; check your vehicle's build sheet to ensure this matches your existing pillar trims and interior aesthetic. When maneuvering the new board into the cabin, extreme care must be taken, as creasing or folding the fiberglass backing board will leave permanent structural damage and visual lines in the fabric. Professional installation is heavily recommended.
