What this part does
The center console is the central structural and functional unit mounted between the front driver and passenger seats. It serves as the primary mounting location for the central armrest, internal storage compartments, cup holders, and structural support for the iDrive controller and secondary switches. Over time, the internal hinge mechanisms can weaken, latch assemblies may break, or the external upholstery can suffer from heavy wear and tear. Replacing the console restores both the structural integrity of the central storage area and the original interior appearance.

Before you order
Verify that the upholstery color and trim finish of this unit matches your vehicle's interior, as BMW 7 Series models feature multiple distinct leather and trim packages. The iDrive controller, climate control panels, and electronic switches are generally not included and must be transferred from your existing console. Ensure your original wiring harnesses are intact before swapping the assembly.
